This week has been a fairly calm week in terms of pregnancy. I've had a couple of calf cramps in the middle of the night. Last night, both calves cramped at different times. Not fun. I'm just glad I could stretch it out quickly.
We, more like me, finally decided on a bedding set for Henry and purchased it last week. It should be here on Wednesday! I am so excited to start to think of things for his nursery. It makes things so real. Well that and him moving around constantly. That's about it for this week. Hope you enjoy the weekly update!

Week 23
Well really Week 23 day 2. Sunday was the first day of Week 23, but I didn't get a chance to write a post then.
I feel like I'm starting to nest a little bit. My dad came into town last week while Brett was recruiting to do some work around the house. The bonus room upstairs was maroon. The dark color really made the large room seem small, especially with the already angled walls and only one window. Also, the guest bathroom was yellow, which didn't match the rest of the house (the previous lime green was peeking through the yellow too).
Dad painted both of the rooms in two days! It was such a great help to me because I wanted to get the upstairs painted before Henry is born since we plan on moving the spare bedroom furniture upstairs to make room for the nursery downstairs. Now I don't have to worry about painting while pregnant. There's only one more room in the house that we haven't painted since moving in. After 2 years, it's finally starting to look like "ours."
I'm starting to think of more decoration ideas for the nursery. Per Brett's request, it has to be a sports theme. When I have more of it together, I'll write a post about my thoughts.
Here's my 23 week update. I'm pretty tired right now; hence the bags under the eyes. Little Henry weighs more than 1 pound now, so I'm really starting to look and move like I'm pregnant. He moves ALL the time. It's a neat feeling but sometimes a little uncomfortable, especially if he takes aim at my bladder. Only 17 more weeks until we meet you, little boy!

Happy 1st Birthday, Sweet Girl
One year ago today, our precious Piper was born. Little did I know that she would become one of the loves of my life. Maybe it's because I am with her all day, but I don't know what I'd do without her. When Brett is working late or gone recruiting, she keeps me company, gets me out of the house, and gives me snuggles at night.
She absolutely loves her Daddy. As soon as she hears the garage door when he comes home, she runs to the door and probably bruises her tail from it hitting the wall so hard. while wagging it. She loves to give Brett kisses. Most of the time, she'd rather play fetch with him than me. Even if I'm sitting on the floor throwing the ball to her, she'll return the ball to Brett almost every single time.
Piper is a complete ham. When I ask if she wants to go for a ride, she can't contain her excitement. As soon as we're in the garage, she has to be picked up to be put in the car. She spreads her feet out real far and tries not to get in. As soon as she's in, she settles down and just stares out the window. She loves it. When you ask if she wants a bath, she'll run into the bathroom, stand at the tub, and sort of jump when you walk up. She then digs where the water goes down the drain. I guess she doesn't know that the hole will fill back up every time.
We absolutely love our little girl and can't wait to see her become a big sister. With how loving she is, I know she and Henry will get along just fine. Happy birthday, puppy!! Mommy and Daddy love you!!
